Reasons to move your company and family to Northern Colorado:

In Northern Colorado we are experts at cooperation. The NCEDC, Larimer County
and the Cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Estes Park, Wellington, and Windsor agreeably work side-by-side to help businesses expand and relocate here. We’ve had many businesses succeed and successfully move to Northern Colorado because of our teamwork with local governments and businesses whether you're an entrepreneur or global company.

The following are overviews of Larimer County and its communities:

Larimer County is located in north central Colorado. It is the seventh largest county in Colorado based on population. The county extends to the Continental Divide and includes several mountain communities and Rocky Mountain National Park. The County encompasses 2,640 square miles that include some of the finest irrigated farmland in the state, as well as vast stretches of scenic ranch lands, forests and high mountain peaks. Over 50% of Larimer County is publicly owned, most of which is land within Roosevelt National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park. In addition to these federal lands, Colorado State Parks and Recreation Area, Larimer County Parks and local parks within urban areas combine to provide a wide spectrum of recreational opportunities that are enjoyed by both residents and visitors.

Major attractions in the area include the Poudre River Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Park. Other major visitor attractions in the County include the Anheuser Busch Brewery and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, sculpture shows and bronze foundry tours in Loveland, and the Scottish Highlands Festival in Estes Park. Loveland and Estes Park are also known as gateways to Rocky Mountain National Park, which receives over 3 million visitors each year.

Fort Collins is a college town alive with youthful energy. Home to Colorado State University, Fort Collins claims over 130,000 residents and is the largest Northern Colorado city. Colorado State University ranks among top U.S. universities, and its eight colleges offer more than 70 undergraduate and numerous graduate and professional degrees. Highly diverse, Fort Collins offers a broad employment base with business residents representing a stable mix of industry, government and services. There is plenty to do in Fort Collins. Historic Old Town is one of the city's most beloved shopping districts. A pedestrian mall preserves the city's historic heart, now the bustling home of eclectic shops, art galleries and diverse restaurants, all in a pleasant outdoor setting. Fort Collins also features the Foothills Fashion Mall with 110 stores, including several national chains. In addition, the city boasts 44 public parks, four golf courses, three swimming pools, an ice skating rink and more than 20 miles of bike-hike trails.
